If that game was anything to go by, the rest of this (dare I say it) season should be entertaining. I certainly had BATB fatigue but by jove if they didn't win me over with that intro video and then having Dan Lu in the first game. Loved it.
The Switch tre/ pop shove comment made me laugh out loud, which doesn't often happen in these things.

IMO, most of the tricks he did were slow and sloppy as shit, which isn't a bad thing because I wasn't expecting him to be some flat ground technician.

I dunno about sloppy as shit, but to me, it's nice to not have everyone landing everything the way that Dashawn dude did. Brockel looks like he's trying to focus his board while landing a trick every time. It's just entertaining, more so than I thought it would be.

I don't get the MikeMo hate. He was a decent change of pace from the same annoying questions Reda used to ask everyone every year. And PRod just seemed so "professional" with his line of questions. That's what's jockish, not the freeform "have we met" stuff.
