Damn I didn't think people would actually support their scooter habit that much to the point where they would call skateboarding gay.

Holy shit, never that I would laugh so hard in my life  :D
I saw their videos and they looked so weak.

On the side, is DC skater owned? I know they are owned by a bigger corp like Huf and Supra but are they considered core?
Nothing I do deserves more than an iphone camera.

When I think of DC I immediately think of Kalis, Stevie, and Wenning so I consider them core........but then again that era of DC doesn't exist anymore.

There owned by Quicksilver. So I guess you could say Surfers, but really just share holders, like technically nike is owned by a running enthusiast but really shareholders. After the collapse of Falllen and Dekline, I don't think there really is a core company. You can say Sole Tech, which is true, but when's the last time Pierre pushed a board? Dude was a freestyler in the 80's, by that logic everything Rocco still has a share in is core.

Also, Wes is rad. I don't back the high end contest aspect of DC, or parts of the brands direction especially in regards to stunt boarding. But they still have some insanely sick skaters and legends such as Kalis, Wes, Evan Smith, and T Funk. My only beef with them is they never put Morgan Smith fully on which is fucked up, and put on Bobby Dekeyzer (who is sick) but sponsor hopped on them at first chance. Morgan has probably been repping DC longer than anyone on the team outside of probably Kalis, Rob, and D-Way. Yet they could never squeeze him fully on. But broke the bank for guys who have hopped all over the industry.

They steal our trends, wear our brands, crowd our skateparks, and give small children an unprecedented level of snaking power... I wish every skate brand would start bashing scooters. It's time to take a stand. Scootering is truly an epidemic

Funny video, wrong war.

The battle against skate stoppers and teaching the youth skatepark etiquette are what need to be focused upon.

Can be added. Rollar blading has died off atleast, so the trend of overwaxing stuff has died down unless you are hanging out with Torrey Pudwill. While I have to problem with the people, BMX pegs are way fucking worse than anything.

your from the bay area right?

Berkeley park found a law that stated in "skate" parks only skateboards and roller blades were allowed.. anything where you could move the front wheels with a handle (bikes, scooters) weren't allowed.
Skateboarding is like jacking-off, it's that good- Jeremy Klein
