Zoo York - Mix Tape 2: Unbreakable (2002)
« on: May 10, 2016, 12:40:44 PM »
Watching some of the older New York Skate videos last night I feel Mixtape 2 kinda got slept on because they didn't have that crazy cast of rappers like number one and this is right before the Zoo York pretty much started to go corporate. Zered Bassett's part is fucked arguably his breakout part Todd Jordan fucks shit up to and can't forget about Danny Supa

Anthony Correa came through in this vid. And like you said, Zered's part is top brass.

One of the videos I bought back when I started skating. This was when turntableism or whatever the hell you call it was famous. It didn't fair well to the editing of the vid. I thought Supas part was great though.

The skate sounds getting faded out in between tricks... so annoying.  I feel really bad for the editor that spent 1 month of his life doing that to every single clip in this video.

Supa's switch nose grind 180 is burned into my brain. I wish Anthony Correa had more shine. I like his song a lot too.
Before you say the music sucked, have you considered shutting the fuck up?

Would go as far to say the best switch nosegrind revert ever done.

video had heart.

brand is utterly flavorless now relying on support coming from outside skateboarding. who thinks of zoo york when they think of NYC anymore?

every contemporary clip RB puts out is completely devoid of any freshness. some corporate looking broll peppered on top of steeze ortiz skating like he's strictly doing his job.

barcelona tour set to a generic spanish guitar track seriously made me cringe.

Deily needs to dip to a relevant brand that can showcase his talents properly.

Agreed such formula based editing...

The funniest part is these old videos shit on most of the 2015- 2016 New York videos
