I'm sure I'll get shit for this but Chico Brenes probably the most overrated pro I can think of.
[close]
You are right, you will get shit. Chico is the man! Smooth as fuck and still has some wild moves. He's not some street league superstar with a pro shoe on Nike or anything. He's an OG with style

you can't do nollie heels forever

Sometimes he turns 180 with them.

But for real Chico is fucking awesome. He's far from what I'd call overrated.

that wasn't a very tough prediction to make.

just went pro but I'm gonna say one of my favorite underrated skaters is Paul Hart.

Seeing him in Bon Voyage and then in Gypsy Life was a treat. Dude definitely kills it on a board and seems like he has a good attitude and positive on life. Fakie heel Santa Monica triple is gnarly.

Going back to nordberg, I think he is very underrated.  For sure pro material, especially in a time where having a signature style is so highly valued . He's got flip tricks and transition on lock, and on a team like flip he really ought to be pro. There isn't really anyone like him in their camp .  If twaun and Dylan, who are two of my favourite skaters, can be as popular as they are for being really good skaters with unique flawless styles, why isn't nordberg more recognised? Not saying he's on their level talent wise but the dude is obviously very good

Micky Papa, Blind just turned him pro. There was no hype or anything to it.
Was discussing with a friend that he should've done some footage for Globe, a week later some other project, and a week later a going pro part. All a week apart, just to build hype. Plus, his pro model board wasn't that good looking (Then again, it's Blind).

What's everyone's reason for disliking him? I'm open to being wrong but everyone just keeps saying "no" or "hahaha" without saying anything they hate?
