I like how he gave props to all the new people skating at Philly and wasn't a hater. Stevie seemed in his zone in this interview.

Probably calling out his ghetto card with him saying all that slang he says. Stevie definitely felt like he was comfortable just saying whatever.

And that Menace call out at the end got me really wondering. It definitely isn't Javi or Fabien or Lee Smith. Pupecki? They seem like they wouldn't mesh right.

It's like how he said Korn was his favourite rock band in his Free Lunch interview. I mean Austyn Gillette ≠ Korn, but it's the same yellow submarine.

Pupecki praised Stevie in the Menace EL series, so maybe it's not him. Suriel or Valdez? Is he talking about MNC now, or Menace earlier? I doubt this is via Instagram because it would've been posted on Slap already. Whoever it is, I hope it gets squashed.

RBK Skate shoes were underrated.

Stevie is cool as fuck in real life. Really nice and friendly. He'll talk to anyone and treats even the most annoying fuckboy kids with respect. I've never seen any ego show on that dude.

If you have to continuously talk about your "legacy" and how "ahead of the game" you were then something is not quite right.

Really wish they followed up on Stevie's Kayo answers. Basically said that he's left Kayo in good hands. Which can't be true considering everything happening lately. They could have even referred to Spencer Hamilton's episode from a few weeks back.

Am I the only one that finds that stuff incredibly cringe-worthy? "you feel me?" "heh heh"

Actually makes it almost unlistenable at points lol

And, Asphalt Yacht Club is so damn lame and regular. No, it has nothing to do with culture or "keeping it real."

"AYC is about seeing your lane and believing that you can make it happen no matter where you come from. #StreetsToTheYacht"

- AYC founder, Stevie Williams

Get your $35 t-shirt and $69.50 hoodie and go all the way to the top! Yea, Steven.

And, who the fuck is wearing $69.50 AYC sweatpants? Jaws? Riley? Trendsetters!

Pretty sure the Menace talk was about Kareem.  It's well noted they've had beef since the RBK days.  Something about Kareem approaching Reebok around the same time or Stevie not wanting him involved......

For what it's worth, Cephas has always been "known" for his slang and way of talking. I remember reading an interview with the guy like 11 years ago conducted via MSN that was almost complete gibberish slang and nearly indecipherable.

You say you're from Toronto, then call Cephas (who anyone that skates in toronto knows is black) a wigger? No one in this city has your back, so stop acting like you're a part of the scene, you're a lurker and a troll.

Also, they're both almost 30, so that whole 'skate career taking off' thing would've made sense 10 years ago... You don't like it, don't listen. Pretty simple shit

I am most certainly not Canadian and it's pretty obvious both these dudes are only screwing around with that stuff. Not taking your self too seriously goes a long long way in the podcast game and frankly I get a chuckle out of every dorky, self-aware "heh heh".

Fuck you pal, this city is filled with great people. Sure there are cunts here but you get cunts everywhere you go.

Think about this message board as an example, most people on here are level headed good people, but then you get some person cunts like yourself.

As I've made clear in the past I really like the podcast and I find their slang hilarious. I interpret it as being tongue and cheek. Don't get the impression that these dudes takes themselves too seriously.

Psyched on the Stevie episode.
