Dunk Elite Highs skate well, but aren't very comfortable when you aren't skating.

I hate this trade-off. I'm gonna find myself carrying my AV classics around between spots like soccer cleats. the heel of a comfy shoe is my worst enemy on the board

Thinking about getting that SC Eric Winowsky, big 10 and some 215s.  Skate warehouse only has the blue marc gonsalez 215s in the complete builder though.

Kinda wanna try the Wino G6 slip ons that Emerica is pushing so hard. I'm skating the laced version right now and for such a thin shoe they're holding up reasonably well. In fact it looks like the flap with the lace holes is gonna blow faster than the toe itself, so skating the same shoe without that specific part sounds swell.

I’m digging the colllin colorway quite a bit but I’ve got enough shoes as it is, so I’ll likely at least try to resist.  :-[

I'd definitely go for the Colllin ones. I actually have a pair of Vans Slip On Pros in white, but they're just chillin shoes. I also have a pair of Reynolds G6 on deck, but I like having one thick and one thin shoe to skate for whatever mood I'm in that day.

Has anyone skated the Nike Delta Force Vulc? I can get them for $30, but all of the reviews are terrible. They can't be THAT bad for $30.

Never mind, I bought them, they're awful. Luckily I got them from Nike so I can return them. I would feel bad about trying to return something to a skateshop.

Swiss 6 are my favorite, but let’s face it, if you have a quiver sometimes you a couple sets of cheap bearings just to keep em moving.  I’ve had good luck with mini logo. I keep them clean and lubricated, they seem as good as reds. I think rocknrons made a post about how all bearings besides Swiss or the rockets are very cheaply made. So these are made cheaply, but in my experience can hold up if cleaned a couple times a year.

As far as cheaper bearings go, I'd bet money on the Independent black winning any test. I rode a bunch of different ones but couldn't stand how fast they all went shitty so I'd just ride Swiss. Since I found the Independent blacks though, I get those every now and then and I feel like they're insanely good for their price.

thanks. i bough them for what i thought was going to be a skate emergency but turns out i have enough time to get the bronson "raw" which im pretty hyed to try.

ill prob just keep the minilogo on the back burner in case i ever need them. its not like they expire.

I've skated a set, and they're fine. They felt as good as Reds to me, and a few bucks cheaper. Lasted a reasonable amount of time. If you're set on that pricepoint, you probably can't do much better.

Cool, I'm going to try a set of blacks this spring!

I've had some very good sets of Mini Logo bearings that were purchased for rain setups, but really I think most sets of bearings can be decent/good with proper care (cleaning/graphite lubrication).

Reds to me are the best bang for your buck, and I would never hesitate to spend the little extra for those over mini logo.

Been skating the Ishod Dunks for a few months now, and I’m absolutely in love with the way the shoe feels as a whole.
Debating on purchasing some Dunk Low Pros. Can anyone compare the two? Are there even any differences? I really need new shoes, but I don’t want to shell out nearly $70 if they don’t feel almost exactly the same.

my toaster quit on me this morning, just inexplicably stopped working. Already had the eggs in the poacher, wtf had to do the sourdough in a frying pan. Anyway, think I'll stop by the St Vincent de Paul later and pick up a new/used toaster.
Hope they have something other than that Hamilton Beach scrap.

if they're thin they're the same as the ishod ones, if they're puffy they're wider and have a different insole (and sole feels less grippy imo). the former are way better to skate in (for me), but the latter are almost infinitely more comfortable. idk about the recent deconstructed (and soulland) ones.
