Thanks Jamie! Hopefully I can give Zero a try. Excited to see what you can do on you own with all your energy just focused on Zero. Best of luck!
thanks dude!
Hell yeah. Thank you. Can't wait to support the brand again. Hopefully by "going small" that you guys follow the blueprint Dill and AVE laid out with FA and only put out shit that fits your image. No more gimmicky mall stuff. Early Zero was one the best things to happen to skateboarding. Hopefully you go that direction again.
haha, yeah we've reissued all the OG shit this year for our 20 yr because it has always been our favorite. our goal is to focus on that aspect of our brand and create new shit that combines that history w a fresh perspective. should at least be interesting...
On Zero though I wish it only the best.
Dying to live was one of my first videos and I'm still hyped on it.
mucho love!
He doesn't suck entirely, maybe that's an exaggeration, but dude clearly is not nearly as progressive as he once was. This part shows he definitely isn't as good as he used to be though.
not sure anyone can sustain the level they were at during their peak except for daewon & guy...

Y'all are claiming people like appleyard- a dude who won soty THIRTEEN YEARS AGO and has sucked since as a reason Canadians are hip and current.
Maybe you're just out of touch with modern Canadian skating but, there is a bunch of young crews, putting out some of the best stuff in skating right now, Check these out if you're actually interested
some of my favorite skateboarders are from other countries, but i think what gipper's trying to say is that since the majority of skateboarders are from the US it's harder for the general skate population to relate to people from other countries...
i love the canadians that have ridden for zero throughout theyears; keegan, tancowny, smith & js...
Yo JT, whos distributing Zero in the UK now?
If you want to start small again, lets set up Misled Dist! I got a few heads to flow, got a clip to film, B&W London night mission - Zero Bold decks and tees ya get me cheif???
All the best with Zero! keeping the dream and memories alive!
PS - Thill of it all was what got me into skating so thanks for the good times!
you might be onto something
I feel like a Zero renaissance is coming honestly. With guys like franky villani, chris wimer, etc and big skating getting kind of popular again (not that it went away) with kyle walker winning SOTY and stuff, I think Zero is in a good place.
If my local carried zero I'd pick one up for my next board. If they had 8.63+
we'll have 8.625's on the zero site in a few weeks.
Hey Jamie- Curious to know why you aren't using DSM for North America if DSM is the team's preferred wood?
we may have a unique opportunity to be involved w a new woodshop in the US, which will help us get boards made on a short time frame for collabs, small runs & limited stuff for the zero site. i feel like, now that the business in entirely our hands, local & purposeful is a dream worth chasing.
On another note, I'm stoked about this whole thing and will buy a board from the first run
cheers
if I were to give any advice (and my opinion is probably shit), but I'd say to really focus on the fact that every shop is different. A lot of companies that want you to go direct with them, tend to try and get shops to take a baker's dozen on boards, etc. and sometimes thats more than they can afford, or takes up too much space on the wall. The little shop in the middle of nowhere is as important as the most famous shops, even if they don't buy as much product.
i agree and back your advice 100%
