Why? Because you miss the magic carpet feel of 139's on an 8.25?

I've been rocking a set of the 144 Kremer hollows/cast plates since they released, love'em. Usually I'm a weight whore and get Ti but I really wanted regular plates.

Set them up on and 8.25" for a week, then fooled around on an 8.38 (blood wizard -  and while still 'full' it narrows juuuust after the trucks so it fits great. I'd wager 8.125" decks would work fine as well (having ridden ace 44s on one).

Interestingly enough, the 144s at 55mm don't feel at all tippy like the 8'24" Krux do. Go figure.

The news of the "in-between" truck is great... I've only got two sets of stage 10s left on ice until I have to try and get used to the stage 11 skyscrapers. I think the difference is ridiculously small, like 53mm to 55mm, but it feels SO much different. Stage 10 is a perfect truck in my eyes... or... maybe it isn't, but it's what I'm used to. Kind of the same thing haha, you can't ask a man to change trucks after so many years. Decks and wheels are fun to experiment with, but trucks?!

The whole time I was reading this, I imagined Larry David standing in an elevator saying this whole paragraph out loud to some stranger
