Rolled my ankle really badly about 4 months ago... finally got an MRI and they found some pretty significant tendon tears. I can walk on it ok but still hurts to articulate so haven't really skated. basically feels like it healed to 50% and is just stuck at 50%. doc is suggesting surgery. who's gone through this? should I wait it out or consider surgery while it's somewhat fresh? the fact that i've felt no improvement over the past 3 months of taking it easy is what bothers me. also i may lose my healthcare soon, so if I were to get surgery, now would be the time
