flip have an incredibly marketable team (minus that berger guy) it's a shame they weren't able to turn it around.

Had to go back and watch some of his footage to really remember what he's like.
It's a shame he's so forgettable because he's really talented and there's a lot of great footage in here, just doesn't have that 'it' factor.

I'd go on a vaseline spiel about how I hope they get their shit together, about how great the team is, but frankly, I just wish Flip is over and that everyone just moves on. For some reason, I'm scared that Luan might end up on Numbers...

Im still just waiting to see what Rowley's plans are. I remember Berger and some people said a while back that Rowley took them all to lunch to chat about what was going down with him and flip, I just wanna know whats going on.

Maybe Rowley wants to grab up all the Street League guys and use his Street League announcer position to promote them and a new board company. He's sounded biased towards the Flip guys at previous contests. I remember him calling Louie Lopez "the guy to watch today" at last year's Barcelona contest while Lopez was in like 10th place.

I might be in the minority here but I feel like Rowley has waited way too long for many people to give a shit about what he's going to do.

I think he's just retired. He's done well financially and now spends most his time guiding hunting trips.

It was all inevitably downhill post Really Sorry.

Obviously a company will not fold directly after their absolute zenith, but it's quite sad what some of these legendary companies end up becoming. Just a sustained mediocre entity riding the coattails of the past.

Sorry/Really Sorry era is entirely untouchable.

highly doubt Rowley is going to have another board sponsor.

i'm sure Vans does him well along with the hunt guiding gigs and Civilware.

Sorry still is my favourite video of all time. Obviously, the current brand isn't my cup of tea anymore. Which is fine. Things change.

However, is Flip really unpopular with kids? I've always been under the impression that they're doing well financially, even though no skater older than 17 gives a shit about them.

Kids under 17 used to make up 90% of skating.....now I'd say it makes up 30%....maybe some kids like it but that's not enough....

I agree.  Judging by his instagram, it looks like he's just skating for fun now and enjoying the family life and hunting trips.

EDIT:  Also, I noticed that he sometimes posts never before seen footage of him from like the mid 2000's, which I highly appreciate.

Only flip boards that I've seen past years have been mostly older guys, for nostalgia's sake I guess.
