Joslin's tricks were absolutely fine. Luan has better flatground style, but that's kind of a thing he's known for. I think it is more of an issue of contrast.

I'm glad Joslin won. How many times have we seen like the same six guys in the finals? It's makes for some predictable matches since we've seen a lot of those dudes play each other already. Luan has been in the finals already once or twice, so I was definitely cheering Joslin on just to spice things up a bit and give us something new for the finals night matches. From how it looks right now there will be at least two new dudes in finals night guaranteed: Joslin, and whoever wins between Sean Malto and Nick Tucker; none of those dudes have ever made it to the finals before.

I wouldn't count it on Joslin to win the whole thing. He's obviously super consistent at the tricks he does do, but there's a ton of random stuff I haven't seen him do that I feel could get him out pretty easily.

Luan's flatground is incredible though. The icing on the cake in this game for me was the fs half cab heelflip, to make that trick look that good should be impossible.
