Pant predictions
« on: March 19, 2017, 07:16:17 AM »
I want your pant predictions. Right now baggy is sliding back in. 6 months I think pants that fit will be back in. And by 2018 everyone will be skinny'ing up for a punk phase. Give me your thoughts.
I'm new and don't proof read, and also don't know if this classes as toy banter but let's go.

equestrian/riding pants would be ideal for actual performance. they're loose up top for movement where you need it, and they taper below the knees for better board visibility and aerodynamics and less intrusive cloth near the board where you need it most. however they will probably never catch on because skateboarders are too cool for school with their work pants, chinos and jeans.

I don't like what im seeing. Baggy is coming back, but the pants are still short, looks silly.

So does the pants with elastic band ankles.

Just rock proper baggy pants/shorts and everything looks much better

Leggingz by Leticia coming soon

Saw a dude yesterday waiting for the flood with his pants,  that's a thing still. Whatever makes you comfortable dudes, booty shorts might be great to skate in who knows!

Damn I left my bubbler at my parents house

How the fuck could any one skate in those. When it's not shit outside I just nut up and rock shorts and get the most free leg movement possible.

I wanted to say that I'm glad that people don't wear spandex leggings. Then, I remembered that I've seen Japanese dudes skate in that stuff.

I like the fact that baggy (non-flood) is coming back, but I am not looking forward to the PD tight krew pants trend that will probably come back in a few years from now.

Don't get me wrong they're good pants. I just don't get how someone could skate in them. They're so thick and heavy. I'm also a baby back bitch though so...

Bootcut Abercrombie jeans, when the inevitable late 90's/early 2000's trend resurgence comes back. Invest in Von Dutch trucker hats, you heard it here first

If anything, kids will get thrifty, realize they can buy pants that look like the $70 skate brand ones they wear that are made by non-skate brands, but are more durable and only a third of the price.

I skated in Levi 510's for the past decade because that's just what I wore everyday, then I went to Salvation Army and got a pair of navy blue Wrangler slacks/pants/whatever, you know, just normal pants, and god damn is the difference incredible. I feel so less restricted, it's kind of insane.

I am 100% serious with these. Think about it, what lengths havent been tried? And Girbaud are just like lvl 20 baggy jeans. Pros only.

You know how you either "dress" to the left or dress to the right? Well there's a few other options and one is the cut lunch where you hang your Johnson down one trouser leg and your balls down the other. That a cut lunch. There's also the lunch box where it's just crammed into the front of your tighty whities with no distinct direction.

agreed!  short pants look really silly!

I usually wear 32 or even 31 waist size pants, but its so hard to find 34 length on the same waist size.
