They apparently stopped laser etching them as dwindle boards, but they are supposedly still DSM, if they say made in China id say there is like a 99% chance they are still DSM, because I think literally every legit brand made in China except girl is DSM

Do you mean price-points from legit company's? or price point off brands? I've seen lots of random cheapies made in China like Think when it was around and their equivalents were Chinese mystery wood.

When all you know is 'China' then you can't expect much....I think that's often the problem is quality control and consistency is bad..... DSM though I don't believe that to be totally true....

If I have an option I'd buy PS, BBS, or USA...but I don't think the DSM stuff is that bad....truth..id never buy a cliche board namely cause of the graphics....

Zero I think is going made in USA....not sure where....

Hey any one know anything about Trump and putting duties on imported wood?  Is it going to change the game or nah.....

More like because they don't exist.

there's a lot of them on Alibaba. There is a factory that listed girl and chocolate as the first 2 brands in their company profile, along with some Tumyeto brands, Plan B and Element. (this same factory also makes baseball bats for adidas)

They quoted me 9$ per printed board... I may start a brand guys

I'd go through with it if I weren't leaving the country next month... I had 2 chocolate boards last year, and I liked them.

hmm well that confuses things slightly but I guess Crail uses that company for all their boards and Tum Yeto uses it for price points

So I guess the Crail mystery shop is Dalian Huahong Sports Tool Co., Ltd.? confirmed?

I live in Finland and all the Toy Machine boards I've had have been made in China. I think it was in the previous woodshop thread also that they use a different manufacturer for the European market.

Could be. I had three 8.25" ones and they all had very different shapes. 14.25" wheelbase on two of them. Other one with a short ass tail and the other one with a huge tail and a nose. The third one had a 14" wheelbase and was just way too short and tiny. I got tired of the gamble with Toy Machine boards and the fact that they sell us different shit than they do over in the US, so I can't trust any of the measurements I google either. Also Toy Machine graphics have gone downhill steep, so I won't buy any in the foreseeable future as there are load of better choices out there.

Does anyone know how the wood quality / shape of new AWS decks compare to those from the mid-2000's? Haven't purchased one since then but I'm considering giving one a try.

my friend had an 8.5 that felt roomy, big nose and tail. not the tapered, pointy decks from 15 years ago at all

Anyone know how to check a PS Stix serial number and find out the shape/size?  I ordered a Toy Machine 8.5 Ed Templeton deck from Tactics, and when it arrived it was actually a Leo Romero graphic, but the factory barcode sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap still had it labeled as a 8.5 x 32.25 Ed T.
I've ridden a bunch of the Toy Machine 8.5 x 32.25s, and this shape was def not one of them.  This one had a super full, square nose, and I really enjoyed skating it.  Would like to reliably find another (local shop rarely ever carries TM unfortunately).

I had an instagram discussion with Paul Schmitt and gave him a serial number. He was able to tell me the dimensions, when it was pressed and what company it was for. Super crazy.
