Hahaha
Yes the bareback sometimes has bumps on them but seem to slide off with friction.

Who owns BBS? Were they ex skaters like Paul?

I do agree the PS STIX shapes are chunky. I have a Hockey Jason 8.5 now and it's a square mass. I loved the shape when I bought it but honestly it's kinda tough to flip around. And I always hated hearing that certain shapes within fractions of an inch changed they way of a flip trick but it's true with me on this board. However I'm sure if I had AVE skills etc I wouldn't be complaining ahhahaha

Don't know if the BBS founders ever skated, but they started as a longboard brand.

If you want to support a skater owned wood shop garage made in the U.S., buy a Deckcrafters board. The owner, Chuck Hults, was a deck shaper in the '80s who developed the first double kick mold used on the Double Vision and Vallely Barnyard. Unfortunately, he specializes in wide pool decks even though he street skates more than any 50+ year old.

Yes I've loved both. I did snap a Gino Iannucci FA board last year which shocked me as I haven't snapped one in ages. But that's bound to happen. Klein is quite picky and his boards are all BBS and he stands by them...thinking of getting one of his 8.25 shapes which are beautiful

I thought JK boards were PSSticks, but hookups were BBS. I'm on a ps sticks meow deck after skating a BBS birdhouse deck. I also feel like if I picked a random 8.25 BBS and PSS off a shelf, I'd like the BBS shape better

I skated a bunch of Hopps boards and no problem....other than they were thick and heavy.....lasted forever.....
Best boards, who makes them? Chapman or South Central?
Also, most of my BBS tend to chip really fast, but they manufacture ISLE so...

I am a devout member of the Chapman fan club as well... skated several Shut (revamped Shut) boards and have never had any issue with the quality or shapes. Right now I have been skating an old Tino Razo board from almost 10 years ago that skates just like a fresh deck, a little heavy yet sturdy at the same time, but not as snappy as other Chapman boards I have had in the past but that's probably due to the age of the deck. Solid all around.

During the great nose snapping binge of summer '16 the only decks that escaped unscathed were a Hopps and a Coda.
I seen a nigga piss over the stall wall into the other toilet, it was so dope.
