Since this is the only thing they have left to play for, I would have thought that Liverpool would have come out with much more than what they showed today.  But the second half was very uninspired from both sides.

But a result is a result.  Scoreboard.

Barca under pressure after their loss to Robert Pires Villareal in the Spanish La Liga. Real Madrid and Sevilla making ground.
Inter Milan pretty much has won the Serie A league. Does anyone here keep track with the Copa Libertadore? Confirmed final 16 teams aren't finalized yet but at this time Santos FC, Flamengo, Caracas, Colo Colo, Club América, Libertad and Grêmio have qualified.

1:1 draw at Chelsea with Liverpool taking it in the second leg.

At least I was half right.

anyway...i'm very suprised that liverpool are in the finals... if milan make it tomorrow it will be an awesome final... i can't recall when there has been a final rematch in the final...

good end of the season coming...la liga still up in the air hopefully barça can get their ass in gear and start knocking some in.

ManU sucked so bad. I only came home around minute 79 or so and was expecting a 2:1 for milan maybe but when I walked in and saw it I puked right into my mouth.
Hopefully Liverpool will be able to control them with a little extra bit of english brutality in the finals. If Milan wins I'll lose a nut due to too much italian victories throughout 12 months of football.

BUMP. I couldn't let this thread die until the Champions League Final.

I know this game is a month old but Lionel Messi is going to be a future legend. this goal speaks for itself   :o . With all this hype and comparisons to Maradona, I think it's pretty valid after that performance

^^^^ Not stoked on them winning the Premiership.  Fuck Utd.  Chelsea had opportunities to close the gap and they just couldn't.

Well, at least Chelsea have the opportunity to beat them for the FA cup.  That should be a good match.

 http://www.fsicrew.info/index.php

FSi are a football streaming information portal created by a bunch of football fans that are tired of the strangle hold certain TV and Satellite broadcasters have placed over us, which in turn was created from the greed of unscrupulous governing bodies of football leagues. This website was created so that anyone with a broadband or adsl internet connection (preferably 512kbps and over) can successfully watch live football from around the world for free! This site utilises the latest streaming techniques and technology and will assist you in finding links to live football and other sports.

You download the applications off their site.
I've already downloaded about 4 apps. Then you join their forum. Then browse the section of games your after. Then when the games about to be played. They post up a bunch of links. Not always with English Commentary. But the quality is easily watchable and its brilliant. You can watch champions league. Scottish Premiere. Anything that they have links for. So yeah thought I'd share it with you all. I found it easy to setup, they have heaps of FAQ's etc.
And its totally free.

So yeah. Get in while it lasts.

Well, i guess Stuttgart would deserve it for playing really consistent. As long as Werder is qualified for the CL....

I'm also somewhat glad to see Bayern struggling with their transfers.

So you're also up late, talking about soccer on an american skateboarding messageboard?

awesome!

Hoeneß said they'd announce their new players after the last game of the season. Luca Toni isn't confirmed as far as I know. Do you think they even have anyone besides Schlaudraff and Hashemian?

Hargreaves is going to united for about 25 million...
anybody following the spanish league? only 4 points difference between 1st and 4th place, really tight end of season, should be interesting. also, my team lost again this weekend and is only 1 point away from relegation zone with 3 more games left to play... everybody is so fucking scared.

bilbao? i hope they don't get relegated... but the spanish league is sick...i hope it goes down to the last day or that barça is leading on the last day and they have to rely on another team to get them the title
