thanks, my history classes are only up to the Victorian era, so these philosophies have yet to be breached in full.

and the comment about inter milan being communists was not expounded upon nearly enough by me and it is easy to understand the reactions i got.  but anywho, its not interesting enough to rehash.

Liverpool 3-2 Barca tomorrow

I've seen this show on some private Italian channel where they show games, but the teams are made up, it's like a reality show and they play for some fake trophy. It's pretty bizarre. But then again, my Italian is pretty bad so I may be wrong.
I just meant to say that it's weird that anyone would air shit like that.

just saw the barca-l'pool highlights...

l'pool goals were more due to barca defensive errors...but i'll give credit to credit to liverpool for making those chances and taking them

should be a great game at anfield

Chelsea 2 - Arsenal 1 @ the Carling Cup Final.

John Terry had to receive oxygen treatment and was stretchered off wearing a neck brace following an accidental 58th minute clash with Abou Diaby

i've played soccer or "football" as its know everywhere in the world except where i live for like 10 years. but now that i've outgrown the youth league and i'm not good enough to play competetively in my age group I just play indoor soccer in an adult league. The games are on monday night, so theres something to look forward to after work and it beats waking up early. Also it's indoors so no rain to deal with. The game is way different though, its pretty much hockey with a ball
hamster, you chewed on the peice of wood i gave you, you soiled the litter i put on the bottom of your cage and you drank all the water i put in your bottle...this is why we cant have nice things!

i just changed channel when the Liverpool game finished and a few inter milan players were after Marchena (Valencia player), then some other Valencia player who wasn't even playing came running from the bench and punched an inter milan player in the face and broke his nose, then like 3 inter milan players went after him... it was pretty amusing. apparently Materazzi started it all, surprise surprise...

Too bad Lyon are out. I thought they'd take it this year. Now I have no idea who'll win.

i don't know how i feel about celtic, just because i don't know which side of the ireland issue i am on.  i think my lineage correlates more with ulster unionists but whatevs, my main beef is with celtic (along with ajax) have hijacked "you'll never walk alone", which was one of the most meaningful moments for me was hearing the Kop singing it tuesday
