Not really a birdhouse fan but I bought the video, fuck it, 12 bucks isn't that much, I also don't drink anymore so I have more disposable income. Down to support full lengths.
Wanted to give my review because there's so much negative in this thread, and I watched it twice.
Yes, the video has that high production vibe but it is done well.
I hate the birdhouse logo, I also hate the fonts they chose for the video, but whatever.
I really didn't like the celebrity cameos, they always seem forced.
Jaws starts it off, don't understand the hate, dude is all around good. I feel like I've never seen him push lol.
Ben Raybourn has a sick part.
David Loy is good, I get he may be a kook, but his part was proper. I was also surprised he didn't skate to some obnoxious dub step or something. That hurricane was gnarly. Like said before, that 5050 ender was weird, but I guess it looked cool cause he ollied into the water.
The hubba session was unreal, that thing is gargantuan.
Lizzy rips, short part.
Sean Hale's part was sick, one of my favorites. He is really good.
Clint Walker is straight up gnarly.
Tony's still got it, thought the song was weird though.
Clive is on another level. I really thought his part was amazing. It had some Heath vibes to it. Almost gave me chills. The intro "song" (more ambient music) went really well with the skating. The whole part was heavy. That has to be the gnarliest lipslide ever done. wow. the noseblunt slide el toro ender looked tiny in comparison.
Overall, it was a good video, I enjoyed it, definitely had the team feel to it.
