sweet i do typography aswell, the first two i wouldnt mix that erroded looking font with the normal san serif- i would keed one or the other.. maybe try girl in the normal san serif font. but i like the third the best....
and with those erroded font or any decrotive type of font, you cant really have much of a difference in pt size , because it makes it look like two completely different fonts with the details.

I sent this into the Girl art department and it looks like they kinda used my idea for their upcoming decks... motherfuckers! haha

Lots of tight stuff in here. This is something I did a little while ago that is now framed and hanging in one of my favorite bars downtown. Hope you like it. I was given a poster of Sid Vicious and wanted to tweak it and make it a little more interesting. It was sanded down and scuffed and then I used spray paint,Garvey ink in a spray bottle and acrylics.

This is a broken board I just did the other night. I was pretty bored and there wasn't shit worth watching on t.v. so this was made. It is a quick stroked video camera and an antiqued background. A little paint pen work with some handstyles(I used to write lots of graffiti and still use it for whatever). There is a Slap pals reference in there although it might not be very visible. The board was a Nick Trapasso. Again, spray paint, acrylic, ink and lots of clear lacquer.

Thanks for the props V.O.G. Much love homie.

I think I already posted the original Picture of this in some other art thread, but this is the original one. The one with rat jesus and all those other classics.
Anyways,  I made a .gif out of pictures I took during the process of painting (almost 6 months altogether) and found out I almost like it more as that.

A friend wants to start a t-shirt company, and want's me to help him come up with graphics and shit. I also want to know what are the best t-shirts to print on, and what is the best art direction or w/e that actually sell in today's skate market. Another question is, you need to obtain rights to print someone else photograph on a shirt? Any ideas and tips would really help.

just dont do stupid ironic illustrations like everything on threadless.com that shit is done till death, if you can get hold of a screen printer somewhere that would be the best to use, and cheapest in the long run

Honestly, stay away from Gildan and Jerzees. They fit terrible and shrink weird as well. Though it is expensive, American Apparel is the probably the best like HATE said... Just keep in mind they fit pretty snug, so if you wear a medium you'd wear a large and so on.

I'm digging your shit Whang.  Your style is reminding me to start this project I have involving the Airline Safety things (in fact I am flying this week, so I can take one off the plane).

And I agree, I love this forum due to the lack of assholes and variety in styles.
yeah ive always wanted to play around with the airline safety booklets the illustrations are always reall interesting, thanks man
