this is the outline for a graphic im making for a local shop. the color scheme is gonna be black, red, and forest green. what do you guys think? this is my 1st time designing one

EDIT: its gonna be a board
the main graphic is pretty cool. i'm not feeling the lettering though. i'd like to see the whole thing colored in.

I don't mind the lettering, however the part that says 'North' at the top looks dangerously close to the edge... assuming that you're going to be scanning it in and colouring in Photoshop/Illustrator, you should shrink that text inwards slightly about half an inch...that should make sure it doesn't bleed off the edge of the deck when it gets printed.

Yes that is Rashida. She's quite the foxy lady. And you're other observations were spot on.

And I guess my sarcasm is just too regular to comprehend on the web.

A preview of what I'm currently working on it art. Left is stencil of Dylan blowing on a harmonica, and right is a print of some Club Masters carved from a slab of linoleum. I supposed to make an accordion type fold out with a pattern, so I think I'm going to do a chain link with the sunglasses, and then different background colors.

^That is pretty sick. I'm liking it.

I decided to break out the paints today but only ended up with a black and white. It's tough painting with one arm but I gave it a shot anyway. I don't have anything better to do besides lay low and heal.

I tried. Art is weird sometimes. To me, making art is like using toilet paper...you never know what your shit is gonna look like.

Fucking nice dude!  And left handed no less!  I see your last name... you wouldn't by any chance  be related to Peter Bagge, creator of the comic where I took my name "HATE!" from would you?

hot damn, i'd lose my shit if 92's related to Peter Bagge. and i had no idea you named yourself after the Buddy Bradley comics, HATE!. i have volumes 4 & 5 and i desperately need to get the rest. those comics are so enjoyable. i end up re-reading them a few times and i rarely do that. i want these so bad.

Hahahaha....unfortunately no....although I have talked with him numerous times over the years. He is a nice guy and was just as shocked as I was that our last name happens to be the same. We had a few long talks about it actually. There are not many people out there with it.

that's sick! is there such a thing as a starter kit for block-printing? or should I just ask someone at an art supply store what I need to get started? looks like a lot of fun.

Also, 92 that piece is phenominal, the fact you're adapting so well and so fast to working wrong-handed is blowing my mind.

I'd just ask someone at an art store or maybe just try to google something on it. But thanks.

I decided to try and draw/paint a plain white cap today. It was hard because I can't really use my right arm at all but somehow managed to get it to work a little bit. The sharpie is both left and right handed as are the painted sections. This took about 6 hours I guess. I was thinking about maybe trying to make a few more and sell them but I don't know if it would go over well. This was fun none the less.
