been doing a lot more sketching for personal design projects lately but ive been using shitty bic mechanical pencils. anyone got any decent suggestions for drawing materials?

id show some work, but i dont have anything im proud of yet. im actually working on rebranding my dads business right now because he has no brand identity whatsoever. i can never think of anything to give him on his birthday so i figured id make him some new business cards and some stickers and t shirts he can give to customers. from there i plan on redoing his website because that sucks too.

Noticed no one gave you feedback on this - in my personal experience, using a colored graphite pencil (blue or red) works wonders when sketching, it's good for laying out whatever you're going to be sketching out, the blueprint basically. I then will go over the colored mess with either a black graphite pencil or a micron pen for detailing when the sketch begins to take form. Just my two cents.

You can get any of these things at your local art store or larger retail art stores (I work at a Michael's) and they usually have price-point selections as well. Just remember that you get what you pay for.

Also, DISTANT that's fucking neat as hell.

SUPPORT HUMAN CLONING

Kind of a heavy one... since my girl has cervical cancer and this might by an option to ever get kids.

Ah well, hope you like it.

AWS is not doing anything with anyway.

This is so heavy knowing what context you’ve provided.

Art is a beautiful thing in the darkest of times.

Anton, that flash is brilliant, wish I had extra cash to get some of that tattooed.

We have to get an art show going for everyone on here. Get highspeed to sponsor it. Or something.

Made an old school workshop one again.

Why? Because I love the old workshop, it's fun and I can draw this style fairly fast...

Any opinion on this is appreciated, also a real hook up address at Alien Workshop would be welcome.

Will try and send these again... or should I try and send these through insta?

All ALIEN WORKSHOP decks I made with a small backstory.

These were sent to AWS this week after I got a direct contact to Mike from here, thank you by the way.

These probably will never go into print even though I still stand firmly behind them and think they would fit the brand very well...

Peace.

I'm curating my first art show and it's opening reception is this Saturday July 28th 6-9pm at Lorimoto Gallery 1623 Hancock st, Ridgewood, NY 11385. If any of you are in NYC and feeling artsy please come check it out. It's called Wake Me When It's Over and it's up until August 11th on weekends and by appointment. I made a series of terrible promos for it like this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-tEF2r9sJn8
