every time i come here i always think, "hey, i'm an artist, i can put some of my shit up!"
and then i look through my art book and remember that i am a terrible artist.

just some pictures from the last two days .. i developed my first roll of film by myself today

maybe crop out the beam / wall on the far left?  its so distorted that it distracts from the rest

Why bother? I could put up some  ripped off regular drawing of mine again to lower the standards if you want me to?

i usually dont take pictures of people.  however, i decided to sell all my pentacon 6 gear, and had this one lens that is supposed to be great for portraits, which i had never used in more than two years.   so i took a few shots of my girl, our housemate, and the kitties...     here is our housemate stephanie.   im kind of bummed that her neck and ear are in focus, but not her eyes.

here's some photo booth pictures of pictures of a few pieces i did last year

a painting of a picture i took with a kodak brownie, cant find the photo tho
60x60cm i think, but i forget

2x1.5m, used a lot of charcoal on this one.

2x2m, acrylic and charcoal

2x1m, acrylic.
i dont know if can tell but it's looking though a dashboard, seats on either side, the little circles are faces

but why buy a crummy camera that can never take good pictures, when for just a bit more money you can get a camera that takes good pictures and can be used -- with a little imagination (and / or filters, masks, processing, etc) -- to take holga-esque 'bad' pictures?   there are tons of really inexpensive medium format cameras out there...    these days you can get a good camera for $50, a really good one for around $100, and a wicked camera for 300 or 400

A Holga with a polaroid back can be fun. But shooting 120 with it sucks.

You must be new to the Skateboard game.  This is real industry talk.  "It's all about who you know".  And that's real.  So, I know a few people that can make it happen.
