Kevin Coakley: Make Friends With The Colour Blue
« on: August 27, 2017, 07:30:18 PM »
I was thinking about that photo of him doing a fakie nosegrind transfer on a black metal flatrail to a 6-or-so-foot drop, and wanted to see it in motion, but I couldn't find it (any help?). I realized I had never seen Make Friends With The Colour Blue, so I watched it, and holy shit, what a brilliant fucking part. I think it overshadows all of this other parts by a long shot, personally.

Certainly one of my favorite parts ever. The spots, the tricks, the music , all perfect.

Nothing else needs to be said, but I wish there had been more of those "Inside the Skaters Studio" episodes.

that whole video is fantastic.  Danny Brady, Jerome Campbell, Nick Jensen... all the parts are great, perfect soundtrack (altho TMBG for the intro is a lil 'off')
hardly art, hardly starving
