Experiment Proposal: switch week, switch fortnight etc

I've heard about people choosing to skate switch for a day to work on their skills (switch day). Recently I've been on a four or five day streak of skating exclusively switch. I think I may continue with it for the foreseeable future. I've been looking for information about how long someone has sustained this kind of streak and what kinds of effects it might have. I have found nothing (probably because it's a pretty ridiculous idea to begin with). Anyways I was wondering if anyone in here has ever tried something similar or if anyone in here has any thoughts to offer on this little project.

When I watch Jerry Hsu in Stay Gold I'm always so impressed by how he pulled of a switch part while injured. Maybe we could call skating switch for an extended period of time Hsuing?

I usually do 2 switch-only days per week. Learning the basic quarterpipe tricks switch was so much harder than expected

you gotta brush your teeth switch, kick a football around the house switch, walk stairs with a different leading leg switch, take first step switch, eat with knife and fork switch, chew on other side, jerk off switch etc
if you want to reprogram your brain to be ambidextrous you need to modify all actions

you wont forget normal stance at all
but just have an additional normal

I'm 29 and for some weird reason I always hurted only my left foot (I'm regular), so I spended couple weeks over the years skating ss flatground only to slowly getting back into it, this gave me a lot of ss flatground tricks, but I think its very annoying lol I woudnt do on porpuse!

I’ve had sessions that I focus on switch for sure, but not necessarily only skate that way for days/weeks on end. I would say it definitely improves your skating. When aves part in the vans video came out I skated switch a lot and got way more comfortable

While I can't commit to a whole session switch, I do make it a habit to do some switch skating every session. It can really make things "new" again.
