Upstate NY/ Hudson area
« on: September 11, 2017, 09:48:53 AM »
Driving up from MA to Hudson, NY this weekend and I wanna get some skating in. Any good parks around there? All I'm seeing is poughkeepsie and another town I can't spell. Down for street spots as well. Thanks!

Chatham NY has a small park that's fun and is on your way. If you got the time Albany is only 45 minutes away, Hit up Seasons and the new park around the corner from them.

When you say upstate how far are you exactly talking about?  I grew up in Plattsburgh so my upstate is different than the NYC version of it.  Saranac Lake has a newer nice little concrete park and Plattsburgh has a diy that may or may not be in a decent state ( it's been a while since I've been back ) but I'd cross the lake to Burlington VT and hit the A-Dog Park, the diy behind Burton, and the Burton bowl.  There are also a handful of other parks and spots in and around Burlington.  If you're only making it as far north as Albany that new park they built looks pretty rad
