Can’t do flip tricks with speed

I’m new-ish to skateboarding and I can do a lot of standard tricks (kickflips tre flips big spins etc) I can skate ledges and flatbars comfortably with decent speed but when it comes to doing any sort of flip trick consistently with any sort of speed I always pussy out of land with major toe drag any tips for overcoming this fear?

i swear 90% of landing tricks is confidence. if you know you can do it, you will. if you dont think you can do it, you wont.
if you can do the tricks slow, you can do them faster.

I've had the same issue, but if you can do the trick slow, you can do it fast. I once heard somebody say that more speed=more stability, you just have to make yourself do it. I used to try to pretend I wasn't moving and focused on jumping straight up and making sure my leading shoulder was open upon landing (especially helpful with fast fakie and switch flips). Those little distractions, like the shoulder thing, help me get away from hesitating during the trick since I'm already focused on the landing mid pop/flip. Idk if that helps or makes sense? Either way, you're gonna eat shit every now and then, might as well try not to think about it, it's gonna happen regardless.
