I watched that documentary a while back and it made me cringe for skateboarding. I know that everyone has their own version of skateboarding and blah, blah, blah, but it actually made me bummed for skateboarding. Tards. Good luck.

I only know this place because of TH underground but from the doc it was famous for a sec in the 2000.
They hould make the next street league at this place. With one rule, they'll have to live there for a week and built the park with the other members of the cult.

i stayed the night with 2 vans of about 15 people

spent the night with the people that ran away from home and now live there.  odds are they just started skating when they got there ( and rip )

Brewce partied with us at night and was actually pretty alright, and said some hilarious shit.

we weren't allowed to leave until 5 people hit coping in the big bowl.

we stopped by the gift shop on the way out and everyone bought t-shirts.  a bunch of people bought some weed.

To be honest this is exactly how I felt after I watched ten minutes of KOTR on viceland.

Never went, had some friends who did (probably before there were a ton of runaways living there).

They skated and then had to do some cleanup/bowl digging in the morning. Were encouraged to FS grind the bowl (apparently you can't go straight over the waterfall without getting chucked so you need to carve the sides).

No cash extraction at that point, might be a thing now.

Our hero "Chad is never going back to skatopia" but it was "one of the most best times of my life".

Is this high up on peoples' lists? When I was like 15 I wanted to live in 6 Newell or D Block whereas this never really appealed to me.
