Two days ago I ended up alone in a big cold factory, and the light in the toilet is broken, so I was taking a poop in the cold dark of an industrial estate. That was spoopy.

I kinda wonder how the OCD and alcoholism worked together or if the ocd stuff developed as a way to keep him clean.

Pretty sure it was a new distraction of sorts that turned into OCD post sobriety. He might of even mentioned it in a past interview. If anything,if definitely became a thing in his later sober years. That EL madness episode came out in 2007 right? Then it became a thing for everyone.

Reynolds went on record to say he's never been diagnosed with OCD same as he doesn't take ice baths all the time that photo was a one of. Other people labeled him OCD and then it became a thing. Even mild OCD is more than tapping your board three times at the top of stairs.

True it’s “the madness”, but it’s the board tap, Wall touches, roll ups and checking in with documenters a bunch of times that made people saw it as a thing

I've watched and read many interviews with the boss, and even though OCD is so often trivialised, I am 100% certain he has it. He has spoken about checking the lock before he goes to bed 3 times, then if that doesn't feel right he will have to check it 9 times as 3 sets of 3, then sometimes 3 x 3 x 3. That is OCD, diagnosed or not.

I'm not saying he doesn't have OCD but he has stated that it has not been diagnosed and that it has been trivialised by other people. His madness definitely points to OCD tendencies. I was diagnosed with mild OCD by a therapist who asked me about the symptoms and how they affected my day to day life and they are pretty benign on the scale of things so she just said to keep an eye on them. My wife would disagree at times but I'm better than I used to be.
