My thoughts about this:
-Uncle Fred should be on the poll; is a tradition.
-Nora should be SOTY.
-Riley SD part is so good that he could be the one but if Louie wins because of the Cons gossip well hella cool tho.
-Thiago and Daan should win some year.

As mentioned before, Tiago's lines on the Embarcadero were fucking incredible. I've yet to see anything done on any rail, down any set of stairs, or in any park that has topped that shit.

I do keep hearing Louie Lopez's name being tossed around in SF, and I agree his footage was sick, but we all know Tiago put it down.

I did hear Foy front crooked El Toro and that's the January cover of Thrasher, but time will tell.

If a Cons full length is dropping on thrasher at the end of the month like I’ve heard, then it will be Louie hands down. Although personally I feel like Herrington will have the best part in that video.

Is this a poll of who should win, or who we think will win? These rarely coincide.

What gets released in Nov/Dec definitely is a big factor. In fact, releasing a Thrasher exclusive in the later month is kind of a prerequisite to getting SOTY. I wouldn't have considered Riley or Foy a few months ago, but they definitely have brought it lately. Clearly preferential treatment is given to kinked rail riders and Foy being a major attraction of KOTR also helps him a lot.

All that being said, I have the feeling Louie was tagged for this by Phelps and Burnett a while back, so he will win.

I heard from one of his team managers that every single clip he put out this year was filmed starting march 2017!!! between his x games part, dc part and indy part, this is insane!!! Tiago for the win all day!

This guy is leaving a mark on skateboarding, we've been mentioning his name for SOTY for the past 3 years and every year he comes harder!! Louie is dope but let's face it, he's not doing anything to skateboarding close to Tiago.
