I got some intel that they WOULD rerelease them (2018) but I'm not holding my breath because even if they did I doubt the quality would be as good as the OG ones. I eat pretty clean so my shoes don't stank yo!

I know I'm not alone on the Silas 1 love and if you knew your sneaker history you'd know how much ZX influence is in there. Besides, function over fashion no? This shoe just happened to have both in copies amounts.
If that shoe was released 3 years later, Palace heads would have been jizzing loads into them and then snowballing themselves because of how good it tasted.
Again though, nasty looking shoe to you might be grail to me. Ed Templeton 1's weren't the sexiest shoe on the planet I fucking loved them! if you're not legit trolling please list your top five skate shoes of all time here.

I will say that I blanked on the whole subjective part, but now that you mention it you and I are probably into very different styles of shoes. Top five would probably be -

1. Trapasso Pro II - Hands down the best shoes I ever skated, then they discontinued them because, you know, the whole Trapasso thing.
2. Figueroa - Maybe the only cup sole shoe I ever liked? What a great shoe.
3. Slip-on pro's before they did the bullshit revamp.
4. Old Schools - All I need in my sad adult transition-only life.
5. Blazers - I fuck with them.

well there you go then! I mean that's only probably 10 years worth of shoes, I'm and old fart and have seen every trend come/ go. Not saying that's a good thing but my tastes have certainly changed over time. If you see some Silas 1's on eBay, I'd say give them a try because they really are magic (and this is coming from a dude who only rocked vans for 10+ years). Adidas certainly aren't making shoes that good these days.
