Where to find detailed skate history?

Sup gods Im writing my thesis paper and skateboarding is in the mix of it, I was wondering where could I find a good webpage, book or whatever that would help me out with skateboarding history. Thanks a lot in advance!

best resources are nine club and epicly laterd for the kind of skating that people on here care about

if you can narrow your interest it would be easier to answer your question. this is pretty anecdotal, but might have some elements of what you're looking for

Thrasher backlog is available on their website. About 30 years worth of mags.
