Most overlooked part of 2017
« on: November 14, 2017, 06:36:11 PM »
With so many great clips coming out daily it's so easy to forget some great parts that have come out this year.

For instance this part I have rewatched at least 5 or 6 times (that's a lot in 2017)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BrPrBwIrZvY

What other clips have been amazing but haven't gotten the shine they deserve?

I've said before I love this part. And with the rest of the team, especially Cole and Glick killing it so hard for the vid, I feel like this part got overlooked and never got the love it deserved.

That was a standout part for me also. The whole video was amazing and really refreshing to see in the age of shitty Chris Thiessen transworld vids and magenta guys doing unnecessary powerslides.

I don't know about overlooked, but I feel for how sick the parts were, people didn't really talk enough about Sebo and Manchild's Lakai parts. Most of the hype went to Stevie, Riley and the lack of Carrol (who had a few clips) and McCrank footage.

It only about 6 weeks old but Tom K's "Keeping the Flame" part seemed to get buried in the feed and deserved a few extra viewings. Skate videos in 2017: Here today - gone later today.

Manchild was fucked by bad editing and simon bannerotts no holds bar of a debut part. When that dude opens it like that and you got a more classic style but are still the other new am., it’s hard to stand out

I thought the opposite, manchild's part was really special and I loved the odes to mike with the trick over the table, and Jesus when hitting the fisheye. Simon just seems like some bland but really talented skateboarder. Like an Alec majerus or something
