Why is nobody talking about the new Traffic video?

The skating and more importantly the spots actually make you want to skate. For the vast majority of us (I assume) who don't live in southern California this is a pretty inspiring vid.

Why is nobody talking about it? Because people don't want to pay money for videos anymore?

Hiroki's part is one of the better parts of the year imo.

I thought the video was great, Pat Steiner had my favorite part out of everyone.  Kevin Coakley absolutely killed it too.  Traffic killed it once again with a great video, it was one of my favorite videos I've seen in a while actually.

i know its spoiled, but it seems like itd be in traffic's interest to just put it out and have people see it. for the most part it seems like anyone who buys it is already going to be into the brand. maybe theyll put it up in a few months

I agree it'd be in Traffic's best interest to put it up for free at this point. Doesn't have to be right away but if they never do they're missing out on lots of new fans seeing the video who never would have otherwise.
I really enjoyed it. Everyone had solid full parts and hunted down some really interesting and never before seen spots. I got reminded of old blueprint videos a couple of times. Great video before you go skate

Worth it for the Japan footage alone. Overall the skating might not have been of a much higher caliber than Eastern Exposure 3, but great mix of styles and locations, good song selections and nicely edited.

Agreed, it was a nice mix of spots and it had a fun vibe start to finish.  That said, a few of those guys skating does nothing for me. Kevin Coakley and George Hanuschak were my two favorite parts. This video was clearly a labor of love and it's worth the support. I respect the heck out of what Josh is doing to keep Traffic alive and pushing.

first half had Mark Wetzel's best part edited to some damn good jazz though. hard to top. his section and Hiroki's were my favorites (Hiroki's has to be one of my favorite parts to come out in the last 5 years, actually).

thought the video was super good. of course it's not going to get any hype outside of the most sincere street skateboarding enthusiasts because it was tailored by, and for those. no fancy editing, graphics, trap music, colored pants, straight up no bullshit. this is no tongue-in-cheek dig at Palace either because their video was nice too but you've got to give Traffic the authenticity (and longevity) card.

I really think it's great that Ricky/Theories is sticking to there guns and making people pay if they want to see this. I don't know when society as a whole started to think art, media, music etc should all be free. Are people that spoiled? Fuck I still buy physical CDs of music I want badly enough. I firmly believe a lot of skateboarders are basically artist, and deserve to make money off their hard work, creativity, and time. It sounds corny but those dudes deserve it. I'd love to see more traffic boards pop up on the set up thread. I'll put my money where my mouth is and get one when I get paid in December.... someone call me out on Dec 15th i have thrown one up.
