I love skate videos. I love both indy videos from small filmers and crews do their thing and having fun to big name productions show casing the best of the best. Having the tangible copy is always great too. First videos i had and watched years ago was Zero's Dying(Ryan Smith's part was my fav) to live and 411vm #53(Billibong In Aus, C1rca in New Zealand, and a day with Bob Burnquist). Progress a few years later and my most prized videos in my collection of DVDs are Giant Spider Skates to Rave(on Weed Laced with PCP), Fancy Lad 3(thanks for the box Big ;3) and Baker 3.
Myself as well as others noticed full length vids are getting shorter and shorter as a whole. Fine, you know? I think that may do to a few things. For big companies, it doesn't pay to make 50min long dvds and for smaller film makers, they probably work a regular 9-5 to pay the bills. what pisses me off if the overload of just parts being pushed out just cuz and not being saved for something bigger, and shit instagram vids. I don't wanna blame it on the newer generations shorter than Officer Dangles short shorts, buuuuuuut that's my on explanation at this time.
So why am I posting this, asides from being disgruntled about these issues about skate videos and hoped up on coffee and wine, and up for 28 hours? Well bordom and I like watching new, smaller videos from underground guys from where ever. Plus, it's cool to review each others stuff and critique and complement one another works. Maybe an ego boost. Whatever.
So yeah. If you make/made videos that qualify as full lengths, post it here. ^^
A full length video (in my eyes at least) is classified, but not limited to the following
Minimum of like 15 minutes
Not a tour/vacation video
...thats all i got. but yeah lets see it.
My latest one, "It's Gotta Hurt a Bit". kinda trash but it's okay. Feel free to watch, critiuqe or talk shit about it. Defo post your stuff here to guys
