Is the existence and popularity of video games explicable as an easy and accessible way for us to enter into the fabled “flow state”? I say that as someone who has probably played more video games than whoever is reading this. I think that explains skating, rock climbing, sports in general, most artistic endeavors and probably a lot more. We seem to crave being in a deep, meditative state of interacting with the physical world.
