How about somethings I'd like to see?

No more poorly done, no-comply's, wallies, or impossibles.

lines with the same flatground trick done twice - mango did it a few times, tom knox did four fakie flips downhill in a row in the new atlantic drift, hell, i've even filmed a line with two of the same flatground tricks in a row. gets a reaction most of the time everytime.

homies chillin aesthetic videos on a pro level - 917 video was the most rewatchable thing of 2017. watch as your favorite companies adopt this theory in 2018. stoked for the phillip gustavson part where he skates to van halen song.

rustic man beard oil becomes a new industry standard - wanna skate and have a beard? don't be caught dead without a $25 bottle of sandalwood oak barrel aged bourbon whiskey stout IPA beard oil in your pocket, cause asking for beard oil during a session is the new asking for a skate tool at the park.

paul rodriguez designs another shoe that nobody will buy - fun fact i looked at a pair of p. rod 9's the other day (when did those come out in 2015) and finally thought, those don't look terrible.

people start writing green day lyrics on their griptape - but don't choose a song released after dookie came out, because that's not core, bruh.

nike sb makes a ventilated coverall - now you can work hard on your skateboard and turn a 13mm wrench too!

la croix becomes taboo and is replaced by V8 - and vogue accidentally reports it as "skateboarders around the globe are drinking bloody mary's at spots"

One of the wildest things to me is how normal and calm people are about facial recognition. Between snapchat filters, facebook automatically detecting peoples faces and tagging people, and even the new iphones with those emoji face things. I'm all for technology improving lives and making shit easier, but even some shit kinda phases me out with just HOW good it is.

So if these robots are actually compiling a database of faces and shit, might be time to break out the tinfoil hat and go live in the middle of the woods in a cabin.
you're not alone there mate! shit is pretty scary if you think about it.

There's this self check out little market thing in my office for snacks and drinks and shit, and you can either swipe your card like a normal person who is being tracked by banks or GIVE THEM YOUR FINGERPRINT to set up an account and deposit cash. People just do it. Give the cash register your fingerprint so you can have some oreos at 9am. Why does it need your goddamn fingerprint and why don't they think that's crazy? Total insanity.
You pay for stuff at a self serve?

At the self serve twenty feet from the office I spend at least 10 hours a day in? Yes.

I want to express my attraction to Morgan Smith. He is such a cutie! I'd love to kiss him, hold hands with him, and snuggle in bed with him. I'm being completely sincere about this.

yeah that's fucked! people don't even question it. Like I don't need a tinfoil hat but I sure as hell don't want to be giving out my fingerprints all willy nilly.

lines with the same flatground trick done twice

former: Leo Valls does and it's one of my only criticisms of him as a skater
later: hasn't someone (probably Ben K or one of his crew) already done this? If not you're probably right on the money here.

The Supreme video will drop, Fat Bill will use a My Bloody Valentine song, and skateboarders worldwide will FINALLY embrace shoegaze.

Fanny packs are out, toolbelts are in.

Fewer local full lengths and more episodes/installments, a la Atlantic Drift.

Bringing your own fire hydrant to street spots catches on.

This has been going on since 2015. Keep up, please.

But yeah, robot security wallies and vandalism would be a sick 2018 trend
