I have this vague memory of you talking about this weird video called "The Real Slam City Jam," which as far as I could tell was Girls Gone Wild but at Slam City Jam. I didn't make that up, right? I google it about once every five years to be sure I didn't make it up, but I have yet to be vindicated.

Slam city Jam uncensored....

I can't believe no one (myself included) has brought up Nick Rix yet.

Another occasional fruitless google search I do is that original absurdly overedited Nick Rix part. I'm pretty sure it's been scrubbed from the internet. If anyone has it, I'd love to see it again.

Jesus, I wish. I've definitely scoured the web for it, I think it was called Don't Bother Me? My girlfriend's family is up in Providence (where I think Nick Rix was from?) and part of me wants to go to the skateshop next time I'm in town and do some serious sleuthing and questioning.

What went down with briden? I used to talk to him every so often on an ea skate forum but never got why he left/got banned.

He lurks every now and again.
My first time in Chicago he took me to a party at his coworker's house and I stole a portable speaker.

Fond memories of playing EA skate on xbox live with EricLogan, briden, Jarad, and an australian guy (forget his username).

Jayme Fortune losing his shit was always the best. I remember he first came on to the boards under a vague name and just talked shit on Koston claiming he was a kook for doing a trick (fakie tre bs 5-0) "Jayme Fortune already did". He continued posting for years always fishing for compliments.
We all know you have two sexy anthropomorphic wolves who buttfuck each other on the bottom of your board.

The only other pal I met in person was The General.  I was in Montreal for work...met up with her a few times.  She was a pretty cool girl.

I suck at posting, just lurk hard, everyday... first signed up for Slap boards my second year of university in 2001, The board went through a few changes you had to resign up a few times over those early 2000 years. Even back then Slap was shit talkers but slap being cared about or brought up in the industry didn't exist, cause no one cared as much about gossip. It's funny what it has become, not so much the board but just the rep it now carries...its always been people talking shit, I guess now there is more of an audience.

Had to look at when this board started, I signed up November 27, 2005...so must have been sometime 2005.

Gotta say though I went through some hard times almost 4 years ago and I posted in "Classic Slap" as I just needed to get the shit off my chest and the Slap community really helped me out...and I have seen that happen throughout my years lurking of people on here really looking out for one another.

I was living with John Trippe when he first made the message board, I remember him telling to check it out and tell him what I thought. That would have been 17 or 18 years ago, holy fuck that is a long time.

A few people migrated from Crailtap, and some from Delphi (although I admit I have no idea what Delphi was, just that people mentioned it).

I started lurking the grey boards in 2002 and started posting shorty thereafter.
