Another Retirement

I'm guessing 2018's biggest trend will be pros retiring. Coming in behind Joe Red is Daniel Shimizu.

flat spotted 3 times in 2 weeks, other than that awesome wheels

Baby is gonna be raised by Max and Cyrus

Love Shimizu. His last full Nike part ruled, which was no half attempt. All the footage was wild. And because of him I found out about Gang of Four. Also, anyone know that he is reportedly the FA guy that handles orders, etc?

His Art Bars part is so fuckin fierce.
Always been a favorite despite not ever being "the best", but because he looked so great on a board.
Infinite respect!

I was so sad to see this. Shimizu had such good style. His run on Stereo was pretty underrated too.

When I think of bent-leg steeze I think of Shimizu.  The way his back knee dips sometimes does something for me.

I'm so glad Art Bars was one of my first videos, so many good dudes in that.  Shimizu wasn't my favorite part at first because I didn't get the subtlety of his style, but later re-watching his part was like a revelation of good style.

Yea man, his part grew on me too. There was a TumYeto tour section in a 411 he ripped in that made me go back and fan out,the style!
