Pretend snowboarding on your skateboard is actually more fun than snowboarding. I've snowboarded some shit in my time but eventually figured that out and ditched all the wet heavey equipment.

Hauling ass down a mountain is a really awesome feeling but it's so expensive and such a pain in the ass to get there that I've only gotten to do it half a dozen times or so in about 20 years.

Aside from having to hang out with a ton of annoying rich kids I'd still recommend giving it a try. I don't even bother with jumps and shit cause I've gotten broke on that stuff but it's still fun. If you do go for that stuff, it does feel neat when you realize you could have cleared a car off a kicker.

That spinny super pipe stuff is about as relatable to the average snowboarding experience as megaramp is to skateboarding.

Just saying, if that bowl the rider is about to enter directly in front of him has no exposed rock just pow field in his general trajectory - hes gonna be safe, even if it's 60 degrees steep and a mile long But if there is exposed granite to navigate then his line is gonna get critical. The reason he got the heli to drop him there is cause they mapped it out from the air and the rider conceives its do able. I did 'air pipen' on whis back in the day.

That game had a mechanic where you'd just kinda fall over when you stayed set up in your ollie crouch to long. I think about that game when that happens while skating.

Like, "aw fuck, I started getting ready for this ollie way too early - I think I'm stuck here."
