Favorite execution of a basic trick?
« on: February 18, 2018, 01:05:13 AM »
Mine is arto’s 50-50 at 3:06.  If I could grind a foot high box with style like that I’d be pretty pleased with myself.

If we’re talkiin’ basic tricks, I guess I’ll classify them as ollies, 180s, 50-50s, and boardslides.  Switch is acceptable.  Whatcha guys got?

Gino. Kickflip on flat. 20 Shot Sequence.
Rick Howard. Front pop shove on flat, Graffiti Pit line. Mouse.
Does Bertino's nollie front kick in SHS count as a basic trick...?
We could go on for days like this really....there are millions.

The front board down El Toro at the end is also a contender for front boards.

^^ there's a few other gifs I've seen over the years of really good flat back 180s, i think Gino and Dill. i'm almost sure the Dill one is in a Strobeck clip where Jereme Rodgers sacks on a flatbar after ollieing up a picnic table.

Nollie flip @ 1:22

I was gonna post that nollie heel at :38 I think a lot of those tricks could be in here. That switch flip at the end is insanely perfect looking.

k

I like both of these but I'm not sure either a 20ft Crooked on a curved ledge or anything on El Toro is basic.
