I'm happy to live in a world where we still get quality Apples footage.

it's really weird to see daveed and apples skateboarding so well. i guess the beef from apples leaving flip was squashed? am i just so oblivious to that whole mess that happened years ago

also, can anyone tell if they used film or if there was just a weird filter put on some digital footy? i bet it's the latter, but i don't know enough about this stuff

Was thinking the same thing. This is pretty much the first clip he was in since his injury? Or am I not paying attention?

Appleyard has plenty of steam left in the engine. Good to see.

I think it's the real deal judging from the camera on the guy's shoulder at 2:40

I was gonna say that, it looks like super 16... Which is crazy. It's pretty fucking expensive to buy and process that shit... Plus they had the entire team travel across the world... I haven't seen someone wearing a globe shoe in like ten years... How do they have the money for this?? Not trying to take away from this video at all.

Super 16mm is correct but I do think there is a filter over the footage. Totally unnecessary because Super 16 looks like a movie on it's own and is way more appealing.

Was prepared to make some snide comment about Globe, but there was absolutely nothing wrong with this video. Hell yes!
Apples sw 180 to 5-O was amazing, feels like I haven't seen him do 'serious' street stuff in years. And seeing David back in action is pure pleasure.

I remember when Luan was talkin shit about Apples in his orkut acount.. Luan said about apples only smokes cigarretts in that Flip colombia tour while him and David was jumping shit. No respect to legend. Luan is an asshole.

Decenzo is pretty underrated. He’s really fucking good. He also jumps down shit that’s as big as the stuff jaws jumps down and doesn’t need to always grab his board like that gremlin.
