Shit editing. He went straight handrail. Like no gaps manuals or ledges etc The really long bs 180 nose grind 180 out on the flat bar really stood out to me.

Used to hate Nyjah but I've changed my mind. While I'm not into street league, monster or the jock mentality, he shreds, is a good dude and loves skateboarding. Also, his trick selection in my opinion has actually gotten kinda sick. There are definitely some exceptions but tricks like the back smith front shuv and front suciu grind were dope. I wish he'd skated more spots that weren't rails though. Editing-wise I hated it. From what I've seen in Ty's recent work and heard him say when I met him, it really seems that he's stopped making his videos as a skater and more as a sports filmmaker. He's focuses way too much on the equiptment he's using and has pretty much forgotten about aesthetic.

Front nose pop up to fakie nosegrind to reg was pretty neat. Fs smith 180 was literally like watching THPS. Really liked the sw fs feeble too.

Dude tries to come off as a skater but really can't hide his jock mentality. He is always one-upping other dudes (5-0'd the rail Riley 50-50d, overcrooked the rail Kyle Walker back smithed). All that being said the switch lip is kind of uncharacteristic of him - doesn't seem like the "alpha" kind of trick that he would choose for El Toro. I wonder if he had tried to follow it up with some other trick (kf backlip) and couldn't get it.

In his 9 club episode he mentioned not being able to skate forever and the importance of saving money. Don't know how much longer he'll be able to keep this up if he constantly feels the need to outdo himself (and others) and keep taking more of those brutal slams.

That was the worst fucking shitshow of filming I have ever seen. I had to stop watching after 1:52 because my eyes were hurting. There’s no place for tilt-shift lenses in skating. Then combine that with HD, and you have the most jittery, eye straining pile of visual diarrhea in skateboarding’s storied history.

to warm up for watching this i watched "Rise and Shine" and i feel like Nyjah was better at skating back then. he does some of the same the tricks in this part that he did in RAS but not as good. plus he used to do hella flip tricks down gaps and stairs and shit. one example; in the new video he ends a line with a sloppy switch heel over a rail down a 5 step. in RAS he does a two trick combo down larger sets where he quick foots a fat clean switch heel.

i hate that he can grind the fuck out of a kinked monster rail but doesn't go all the way off the end of it. he fucking pops out early on a bunch of rails and looks like he's just settling for it instead of getting the grind he wants. its like he's playing it safe. " i better land this one" and he ollies over the last set.

pretty amazing grinds none the less.

Incredible skill on a skateboard, but somehow this is kind of boring. The filmmaking is what it is, but it takes me out of the video at points so that's a negative. I watched about half, then skipped to the ender.

The wide angle seriously had my eyes freaking out. For how many times Ty probably watched this while editing, I don’t get how you can’t take a step back and think, ‘This kinda looks like shit.’ I can’t inagine Flat Earth being worse than this, but I totally believe it.
