things that made you cry today

did a search and i don't think this is a topic yet.  is 2019 the year we finally get in touch with our feelings? I'll start

worked late last night and had to wake up extra early to take my nephew to school before i had to work.  put on the lion king soundtrack for him and got hit with a wall of nostalgia/realized im old now, and shed some tears

My mom died a few years ago and my dad is dating some pill popping person. While on vacation I called her a fucking cunt and told her she belonged in a padded cell. Cried while apologizing to my dad.

I'm in group therapy and one of the members shared how she was triggered when seeing a photo of herself in the childhood home where she was sexually assaulted. That was the first time I cried today anyway.

Friend's dad has stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread.  Awesome dude that manages a Cowtown skateshop here in Phoenix.  Reading the gofundme made me cry a bit, hoping some good shit can happen for them.

A mate of mine is literally dying at the moment, he's 4 stories above me at work with his family.
His name is Dave and his identical twin brother is staying at our place cos' it's closer to the hospital.
Cancer in his lungs/brain/liver.
Both were in the PASC (Port Adelaide Skate Crew) and are in a few local videos.

Harsh man, he's 34 which is the same age as my brother.

I genuinely shed a tear by the end of this tribute Adam Sandler did on SNL last night. I grew up watch Chris Farley skits with my dad all the time and it brought back so many memories.
