Design Agency Skate Attire
« on: March 13, 2018, 12:43:12 PM »
Edit: shit alright. I make myself sick too. I’ll just get some hands down gear for the water cooler.

Yeah I reread what I wrote and yuck. Meant to say what are some interesting small brands you like that make nice stuff to wear to work.

I'm freelancing in Los Angeles working on various design related projects in agencies/studios/offices and I want to buy some new gear that would be nice for this setting. I'll wear Dime, FA, Supreme all that obvious trend stuff that goes beyond skateboarding and I'm aware of the more popular skate brands like Brixton, Quasi, Polar, & Isle but I'm looking to discover some other brands that fit the description I'm looking for. I'm looking for stuff that I might not have heard about before like Carpet Company, Stingwater, Lewis Cruise, Chrystie, etc. Eh, I feel like a nerd doing this, but I'm trying my best not to be a piece of shit.

Everything about this is gross.

I recommend Van Heusen wrinkle free button ups (short or long sleeve) from their travel collection. There like $20 each and you’ll never have to iron again. Just keep the shirt hung and the day you are going to wear it hang it in the bathroom while you shower. The bonus is that the short sleeves will remind you of Rick Howard circa Goldfish. Good luck at the new job.

I like the Dickies chambray long sleeve for work. The bottom is flat so you have the option not to tuck.
