For the history: Unicron was started by Michael Stanfield around 2003 - maker of the video “Amateur” and “Filmbot Files” and later became a skate photographer. He sold the business to Kevin Marks in 2007ish and it folded in 2011. Kevin does The Lookback Library now - if you haven’t heard of it, check it out.

A lot of my disposable income went to Unicron.

my first online purchase ever was a Really Sorry DVD from Unicron.

Holy shit, I'd frequent Unicron when I first started up my collection. 1/4 of my skate dvd collection came from there. I always wondered what the hell happened to that site. The last days of it had everything going for cheap but I was surely sad to see it go.

I still have my copy of Amateur.

I spent so much on Unicron. Bought the 2nd Lordz Wheels DVD from them.

I remember the last purchase I made from them being around 2011 before the pulled the plug and they threw in a free copy of he Famous Stars & Straps DVD and a whole bunch of Osiris stickers.

Hey- Unicron was cool.  We're not here to talk shit on the dude.
[close]

I definitely was not throwing any...shade. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Mike a few times and he’s as solid as they come. I actually watch that Famous DVD from time to time and gave the stickers to some kids who appreciated them. Plus, if it’s free, it’s for me, I’ll take 3.

No, just joking.  Dude was always cool and down to throw in extras.  Famous Stars vid and Osiris stickers were just funny to me for some reason.

It was funny to me too. I once made dinner for all the homies one night after skating and we drank and watched the Famous video peanut gallery style. That was a spectacular night.

didn't know about all this but checked it out and respect. if his prices are high someone else will flush em out for now he's setting the bar on stuff that some people have held on to.

keep it up and yeah int'l shipping is a lot of the time more hassle than its worth.

homie has Rock Adio listed for $17 and I just sold it on ebay for $4. Those on here thinking they are sitting on gold mines could be tripping. Somethings are only worth how much someone is willing to pay for it

A Maserati drove into my parked Toyota corolla and took the front bumper off. I know it's not really relevant but I figured if we were whining about something I would join in.

if it makes you feel better the damage to the maserati is probably greater than the total value of your car

to be honest, it kind of does. If it was the other way around and I hit his car parked I'd probably fake my own death.
