That was real nice, lakai's, switch mongo push, his trick selection... Always really liked his skating... The filming and editing was spot on too which is oh so rare these days.

I really like how Slap praises “Make Friends with the colour blue” here and there. At the time it was out I was skating Blueprint with no middle man so when the boxes came there’s always some dvds.

I remember I give away a lot of those to folks who I thought “got this vibe” and would appreciate that kind of skateboarding. That video was on my DVD player for years and I watched infinite times after o before a sesh.

Pretty rare to see an entire thread on SLAP (that isn't about Fred Gall) in which every post is pure praise.

Here me out on this one fellas:

He's kind of like if Gino was a workhorse (and British, I guess, haha). Not an exact replica or something, but he's got some of that same lean, push, style, and casualness as our pal Gino, but I would say he is a more powerful skater than him (what Gino lacks in power he makes up for in grace, though), and Danny definitely skates faster.

Anyways, probably going to re-watch Palasonic now.
