Brian Emmers was fuckin' amazing

God DAMN all of this stuff is so good, sick footage even by today's standards, easily. Much like the forgotten Matt Beach footage I posted in here recently, this guy also deserved more shine than he ever got.

he told in his chops interview that he never forwarded letters.

anyways, he had skill i give him that, he just never handled the attitude issue against industry standard or what is.

I remember hearing that it was a sponsor me vid that emmers gave to dyrdek that said in the beginning something along the lines of: "yo dyrdek, what's up with putting the emmers on the workshop.  also remember being shocked when I heard this because emmers was literally the nicest guy in person at the time and obviously an amazing ripper.

Ironically, despite the west coast centered footage, I really think Emmers actually would have been a good fit for photosynthesis era Alien. Dude was (is?) talented, had great trick selection, and did his tricks proper as fuck
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

this guy was one of my favorites in the late 90s, he was doing crazy tech tricks with style, too bad he disappeared from the scene...

the first time I ever saw emmers was in trouble shooters, that video was full of garbage sd folded fs flips and suspect clothing, but there was soo many hidden gems.

one of the first posts I ever made on my first slap account 04-05, I made a thread about this video and I got destroyed by all the OG palss.

A favorite in my early years of skating as well as a huge switch stance skating inspiration.

Watched this one a bunch when it came out. Had never seen a lot of these tricks done before.
