Well that hurt. That second goal made my stomach drop. We fought a good fight the first half but I guess it wasn’t meant to be, another World Cup heartbreak for me  :'(

Neymar is the fucking worst though with those overreactions.

Seriously. Even the Italian team thinks he is overdramatic.

I have to admit I was kinda stoked when a Colombian knee to the back put an end to his WC in 2014, after the Brazilians had been fouling James all game, with the referee turning a blind eye.
->McPott: feel for you guys! it's harsh when it ends like that.

Damn! that Belgium vs Japan game was so good. I thought Japan had it. That long distance header goal was ridiculous.

I'm pretty sure Vertonghen was just trying to head it in the box and not on goal. I think he even said so himself.

what I thought too.....now I might be biased I know, but the France-Arg game was much better IMO! Just as much tension/suspense and better goals.
Anyways congrats to Belgium! I don't see them beating Brazil, but who knows anything can happen, including...... a France-Belgium semi-final.  :-X :-X

We'll see.

We were ok in the first half, sucked in the first 20 minutes of the second half.
SUCKED TERRIBLY even.

After that we had a lucky header goal, and then we got 'good'.

Last goal was amazing.

And big ups for Japan, they were REALLY good.

Also Fellaini and Hazard are the man.

to be fair, if the header was lucky, Hazard was unlucky hitting the post right after the first Japan goal.

Now please Colombia.....vence a Inglaterra!

IMO the English attitude was just as bad. Lots of diving. Pretty bad game overall.
Colombia without James is just not the same team unfortunately.....

That game was terrible and boring. I missed the Belgium - Japan game and instead watched the England - Colombia game. Bad choice.  :-\

England is pathetic to be honest. Team without midlefield is a joke. When Columbia started to play 10min before the end of the game we all saw how that looked.  No one was brave enough to take the ball and play, defenders kicking the ball out randomly. Just pathetic team with great attack.

haha yes it would be nice. Maybe this was the game they had to survive to start playing. Columbia played dirty from begining so maybe Eng was suprised when they started playing. who knows..

Glad Mbappe got yellow carded for that Neymar dive he did. I like watching Mbappe play but soccer has the biggest bunch of pussies if someone even breathes on them.

Ha, true. For the longest time I was annoyed by all the acting, but now I'm starting to wonder how far players will take it in the future.

And yeah, gutted for Uruguay. But the better team won.

Brasil needs to wake up and realize they will always lose against top European teams because they dont have middlefielders. They produce just attack and defence and sell them to Europe, and all the games I watched in their league were just run and gun attack -defence games.

Lol at the refs not calling Neymar’s fouls and telling him to just get up.
