The man has enough money to do whatever the he'll he wants, and he picked skating. That's sick. He built a park, and a bowl on top of his mansion. That's got my respect. Plus that boardslid to 5050 was pretty rad.

He's legit better than some people I know who have been more or less skating their entire lives. I think some people (myself included) assumed he was just trying to skate because it was getting popular, but it's been a few years now and he's even taken some injuries from it. Stoked that of all the things he could be doing with his downtime he chose skateboarding.

I still won't listen to his music tho.

I get the initial hate/skepticism when he got in to skateboarding, but it's pretty clear to me that it stuck with him and he's a lifer now. So many good comments in here re him choosing to spend his free time skating. Think about it for a second... He could easily be with getting down with the baddest bitches, or okay, elite strippers/high end escorts, but he chooses to skate. It's just a testament to the feeling of it. After he 180'd the stairs towards the end, the sense of stoke and pride was tangible. That's what it's all about, folks. Shit, at 34 I'm just happy to push down the street.
