My main job role is live-streaming events. Primarily interviews, sometimes social events and sometimes tours with artists. Includes the live video and content sharing (presentation or video).
I use Zoom to do this and the quality is garbage. No matter how high quality the equipment (Canon C300's, Sennheiser wireless) the output is always sub-par. While the audio quality sucks, I like how it auto-compresses everything. Nothing to do with packet loss etc. but more so how the frame rate drops and latency in audio/video comes through. When doing playback to international locations (China/AUS, EU), we're streaming a recording of the first stream so this becomes total garbage on those second playbacks.
Anyone know what they're using to stream, cost etc.? Second, any Adobe Premier nerds know the best settings for export to retain frame size and quality? For the sake of time, I use their default and it degrades pixel quality, especially if I'm using a pre-recorded video from Zoom. My background is in post-production audio so video is kind of a new beast for me.
Sorry if this is in the wrong thread, I just don't know who to turn to other than my PALs.
