Ok, what the fuck is a "lifestyle brand"? Nothing, I assume?

Are you for real or doing a "I don't give a fukk" thing

I had to suffer through a few mandatory marketing courses in business school and did really well. I still don't understand what this "life style" bullshit is. Having a hobby is not a life style. Living deep in a forrest is a life style, wearing a Gibson t-shirt is not.

Feel free to explain.

Ha.  I feel the same way about the term, "Street wear."  Everyone lives on a street and wears clothes and shoes.

Don't you pals know, it's about swinging, being gay, living as a young entrepreneur in the hectic big city life.

I used to rock too. I had a squire with 4 strings and would turn the distortion all the way up.

Yes, the fact that they won't be made again is sure to drive prices way down.

John Schofield could play any guitar in the world and he chooses to play an Ibanez AS200 instead of a Gibson. Surely that says something?

The first result when you google John Schofield is someone from the Civil War. That's how I found out you meant someone named John Scofield. You can't bother to spell his name right. Surely that says more?

Gibsons are too expensive and not cool enough. Anybody that would be playing a Les Paul opted for a more affordable and aesthetically metal Jackson (or some shit, I don't play out of a Line 6 so I don't know). But more cool people have played fenders and their entry level guitars are of a higher quality. Sheeeit, even a Squier is good enough if you swap out the pickups.
You know I thought these forums were a for skating not discussing fetishes
